Very nice read. Magical scenery, nice concept for plot.

Two young people meet in a remote little town. A girl who lives in the woods is suffering from strange disease, she's turning into glass. The illness started from her feet - that's why she limps while walking. Nobody knows about her malady, even the boy who is in love with her. Nobody knows if the illness ever stops.

Will the girl turn into a glass sculpture?

Well, the hint is that love isn't the remedy and that the story lacks sweet happy ending.

I enjoyed this book very very much and highly recommend it.
